The National Review reports
READY FOR MORE: Club for Growth is ready for reprise of ads such as this it ran on Mike Huckabee's last presidential outing.
that Club for Growth
, the millionaires club that has long feuded with Mike Huckabee
, is ready to go after him even harder after he announces for president again next week in Hope.
“If he got the nomination and was president, he’d be terrible on economic conservative issues, and we’ve got to educate the voters about that through our affiliated PAC,’ [Club President David] McIntosh said. “If somebody like that starts to rise up again — I don’t anticipate anyone will — who has a terrible record on economic liberty, we will make that known.”
Key to the Club's anger was one of Huckabee's praiseworthy decisions, to back tax increases to support vital Arkansas services.
Huckabee, in his typical style, has compared the "Club for Greed" with terrorists.
Mutually assured destruction is what's called for here.
