* ZOO CREDIT CARD CHARGES: The city of Little Rock announced this evening that on Feb. 8, 9, 15, and 19 and March 12, 15, 16, 18, and 22-24, credit card charges at the Little Rock Zoo weren’t properly processed by a third party. This caused a delay in actually charging to customers’ cards some $42,000 in charges. When the charges finally were processed, some were processed incorrectly and amounts charged to customers were incorrect. The incorrect transactions have reportedly been removed, but individual banks will have to clear each individual transaction. While 946 customers were affected, there was no data breach, the city said. Customers with questions can call the zoo at 501-666-2406. It has copies of all signed receipts and cary verify correct charges.
