a study from Bankrate.com found that Arkansas was the worst state in the nation to retire:
Bankrate.com ranked all 50 states according to several factors. They included local weather, cost of living, crime rate, health care quality, tax burden and senior well-being.
Wyoming was #1. Which kind of makes me wonder about the chicken and egg question re: cost of living. Also, Maine ranked higher than Hawaii on weather, so their methodology may need tweaking. Here's the report.
