A note on the website of Lindsey's Resort, the popular trout-fishing destination on the Little Red River at Heber Springs, says the resort will be forced to close due to a bank foreclosure. The note said:

After 50 years of Building Memories for families here on the banks of the Lil Red River, we sadly notify you, we can no longer can be a part of your Vacation Plans. The bank has issued a foreclosure decree and we are closing the Resort. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your lives fishing, resting, relaxing and enjoying the food and the fellowship. If you have questions, please call 501-362-3139.

Arkansas Business reports that the closure is due to a $3 million foreclosure lawsuit by lender Centennial Bank, which filed a complaint alleging $3.12 million in defaulted loans in Cleburne County Circuit Court last March.
