The lack of a state plan to do anything about Little Rock well after the state Board's takeover vote should make everyone suspicious. The push to make an unqualified former senator and charter school advocate, Johnny Key, leader of the Department, should also promote suspicion. The Walton-backed bill to allow all Little Rock schools to be operated by private companies forever, with no return to local control, should also promote suspicion. The arithmetic is pretty simple.
