Arkansas House delegation votes against immigrants

A fight between the Republican Congress and President Obama opened today with a House vote to fund the Department of Homeland Security but only if undocumented immigrants be subject to deportation.

President Obama wants to defer action for people who arrived at children. 28 Republicans voted against the measure today, having moderate views on immigrants. But the measure passed 218-209.

All four Arkansas House Republicans — Rick Crawford, French Hill, Bruce Westerman and Steve Womack — voted in the pro-deportation majority.
