SITUATION WANTED: Bruce Holland.
The rush of Republicans
into dozens of government jobs now under their party's control is political business as usual and noteworthy only to the extent that the GOP is the champion of reducing government for its inability to achieve the superior performance of the private sector.
In short: For people who spend a lot of time decrying government, an awful lot of them want to be employed by it.
In that vein: I mentioned one small patronage job on offer in state government because Asa Hutchinson has told John Andrews he won't be staying on as director of the tiny Department of Rural Services.
Former Sen. Bruce "Fireball" Holland
is still looking for work. This sounds like a fit. He might also see himself as a Livestock and Poultry director. That's the talk going around, in any case.
