Feast time is about to begin and I'm going to open a line for whoever might be out there. I close with a photo from my walk down Fifth Avenue today to check out store window displays. The crowds were enormous. Hotels are full of people celebrating the Christmas in a city with a limitless supply of pleasures. Many come from foreig countries, judging by what I heard on the street.
Halal food carts sold kebabs. Chocolate shops were open. Even a few enterprising retailers opened doors on Christmas day. It's sunny and cool. A long stroll was just the right setup for a feast.
My favorite window of the day was the Lego model of Rockefeller Center in the store window at, of course, Rockefeller Center.
