* NO INDICTMENT IN FERGUSON:  So a jury grand concluded there was no probable cause for any of a range of potential charges in the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo. Now the reaction. I hope it follows a considered look at all evidence released tonight. Also: A lack of a charge might be proper and still not hold police procedure faultless nor absolve a community of racially disparate treatment.

* FAILURE TO FILE: The U.S. attorney’s office in Little Rock announced that Gregory Warren, 52, of North Little Rock had been charged with five counts of willfully failing to file income tax returns, for the years 2007-2011. He had income ranging from $80,000 to $228,000 in those five years.
