  • COMING BACK: Bill Clinton.
Former President Bill Clinton will return to Arkansas for campaign rallies Oct. 17-19 in Hot Springs, Hope, North Little Rock, Pine Bluff and Forrest City.

It's all part of the Democratic Party's push to defy usual low mid-term election turnout.

He ain't Mitt Romney, but he'll just have to do. He made rounds earlier this month in other Arkansas cities.

NEWS RELEASE

President Bill Clinton will headline rallies and campaign for Arkansas Victory 2014 in Hot Springs, Hope, North Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and Forrest City on October 17th, 18th and 19th. President Clinton will speak at the Hot Springs Farmers’ Market, Hope Train Depot, Main Street Argenta, the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, and the Forrest City High School to rally students, local communities and lay out the clear case for why there is so much at stake for Arkansans in November’s election.

Arkansas Victory 2014 is the largest grassroots campaign in Arkansas history. Thousands of Arkansans from across the state are going door-to-door, making phone calls and talking with their neighbors about the clear choice this November. Arkansas Victory 2014 has already registered thousands of voters, knocked on thousands of doors and made thousands of phone calls. These grassroots efforts will continue through Election Day.

“From Hope to Forrest City, there is no one better than Bill Clinton to make the case to Arkansans just what is at stake for middle class families in this election,” said Democratic Party of Arkansas Chair Vincent Insalaco.

“President Clinton knows this state and it’s people and he knows how to lay out just how important it is that Arkansans get out and vote and keep out-of-state billionaires from buying this election.”

Tickets will be required to attend the events. All events are free and open to the public. Tickets will be available at ticket distribution centers and at the doors.
