The LRPD said it was responding to a bank robbery at the Summit Bank (now Bank of the Ozarks) branch at 1800 N. Taylor Street in the Heights.

The suspect first went to the One Banc located at 8000 Cantrell and attempted to gain entry but was unsuccessful. He then came to the Summit Bank at 1800 N Taylor dressed in a black shirt and wearing a wig. He displayed a note and implied he had a weapon. The teller complied with the instructions and the suspect fled on foot. Photos will be released momentarily
