David Couch, attorney for Let Arkansas Decide,
provided the ethics form filed today by the committee, which has submitted petitions to the secretary of state to call a statewide election on a constitutional amendment to allow alcohol sales in every county.
The campaign filing reveals precious little.
Retail grocers and convenience stores support the effort, we've been told previously.
The report shows no financial contributions to the campaign, except for a $20,000 "loan" from National Ballot Access, a company in the business of paid canvassing for signatures. It shows expenditures of $28,000, mostly pay to people who gather signatures.
Couch said the report covers June. All contributions to the committee were made in July, so they won't be reported until next month.
Transparent it isn't.
