State Police make arrest in bicycle hit-and-run

State Police yesterday circulated information about a vehicle believed involved Tuesday night in a hit-and-run of a bicyclist on MacArthur Drive near North Little Rock. Today State Police announced the arrest of a North Little Rock man.

State Troopers received a tip from a citizen late Friday (June 6th) giving them the location of the vehicle that was believed to have struck the bicyclist along MacArthur Drive Wednesday evening.

Clyde Cook, III, 35, of 7371 River Point Drive, North Little Rock was taken into custody and charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident, battery in the 1st degree and driving on a suspended license. He was incarcerated at the Pulaski County Jail.
