The line is open. Why am I glad it's Monday? Because the election is tomorrow and many candidates, such as Republican gubernatorial candidate Curtis Coleman,
will soon be deservedly chunked into the dustbin of history.
Coleman today said the legislature should have veto power on state courts. He proposed a constitutional amendment that gives the legislature an override of judicial decisions with a 75 percent vote. A little earlier with this gay-bashing demagoguery and who knows? He might have gotten 30 percent of the vote.
I betcha Coleman and Rapert and them wouldn't feel the same way in a good liberal state that adopted all sorts of safe and sound gun control measures. They might like a court option then.
