Your comments welcome. Slow day, except for the Arkansas Literary Festival and the Jewish Food Festival at War Memorial Stadium, where falafel and more was on on offer.

* SCULPTURE WINNER: The city of Little Rock announced that Lorri Acott of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado wwon a $60,000 commission in  the 2014 Sculpture at the River Market competition.  Acott's sculpture, "Peace,"  will be placed in Riverfront Park near the First Security Amphitheatre and the La Petite Roche.
