Scott Ellington, prosecutor for the Second Judicial District, announced today that his office has issued a warrant for the arrest of a Paragould OBGYN, on charges that the physician allegedly took nude photos of a patient during an examination without her consent.

Ellington said Dr. Paul Becton, Jr., 68, faces five counts of video voyeurism in the case. Each count is a class D felony. Ellington said the allegations came to light after a woman came forward to tell investigators with the Paragould Police Department that she suspected she'd been photographed without her consent while visiting the doctor's office. Paragould requested help from the Arkansas State Police, who handled the investigation.

Becton has a practice in Paragould called the Becton Women's Clinic.
