KARK has a report with home video footage of a skunk captured by N. Little Rock Animal Control which later tested positive for rabies.

The animal was reportedly found wandering behind a house in the 800 block of Buttercup St.  in Levy on March 30, and was subsequently captured by animal control officers after it began acting aggressively. Testing on the animal by the Dept. of Health returned a hit for rabies on April 1.

A press release from the Department of Health says that there was "no known contact between the skunk and any humans or other animals," and that no action is necessary by citizens. Those with concerns are instructed to contact N. Little Rock Animal Control at: (501) 791-8577.
