Authorities are looking for Terrell Holloway
, 9, who hasn't been seen since 5:40 p.m. Monday. Initial police reports said the case was considered a runaway, not foul play. But after a cold night he has still not been located. Police said he came home, took off a jacket and ran away from 1918 Spring Street. He was wearing khaki pants, a red shirt, red jacket, red-and-white shoes and a red cap with the word Chicago. The State Police have issued an alert for the child.
The LRPD used search dogs this morning
, but so far haven't found the boy.
UPDATE: The boy was found about 3 p.m. this afternoon. Police said he was "safe" and being taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital for a medical check. He apparently was hiding near his house most of the time and was found close by, along Broadway.Employees at a law firm in the 1900 block of Broadway heard him knocking outside. Police said he seemed to suffer no ill effects, but were taking the precaution of a medical check and intended to ask him how he spent the night.
