As the 'private option' turns; contingency anyone?

Sen. Linda Chesterfield remarked at budget hearings today (AP) that the private option health insurance plan was, at best, "on life support." DHS Director John Selig said he had no contingency budget if the plan isn't fully funded. Perhaps they may be working on that. Preparing a budget based on the law as it's written normally wouldn't be remarkable. But on this issue .....

That old system of biannual sessions suddenly looks a little better to some, I'd guess.
