In light turnout, Little Rock voters overwhelmingly approved a bond referendum to restore Robinson Center Music Hall, which hasn't seen any major improvements since it was built in 1939. Only six percent of the Little Rock's registered voters participated. According to the Pulaski County Election Commission's unofficial results, 5,183 voted for; 1,800 cast votes against.

The bonds will be repaid using a portion of the city’s 2 percent hospitality tax. The bond measure will cap the project at $73.5 million, but that's to cover potential overruns. The actual cost estimate is $68.6, including fees and relocation costs. Construction is expected to start next July and extend for 26 months. September 2016 is the planned opening date.
