The New York Post's Page Six blog reports
that Brett Overman,
the Arkansas-born founder and CEO of the country's largest post-disaster cleanup and restoration company, National Disaster Solutions,
looked to be in for a disaster of his own last Saturday after a storm knocked out power during his lavish Florida wedding.
Luckily for Overman, he was holding his wedding at Donald Trump
's posh Mar-a-Lago Club on Palm Beach.
The Donald made a call to the head of Florida Power and Light, who called an all-hands-on-deck. Crews had the lights on with fifteen minutes to spare before "Here Comes the Bride." Clearly it's who you know, not what you know.
Back in 2011, we wrote about Overman's meteoric rise from small-town-boy to big city mover-and-shaker.
Hell of a nice guy, with a true American Dream story. It's a long way from Caraway, Ark. to Page Six, man.
