The Monday night pants-on-fire line

Another week, another open line. Finishing up:

* TOM COTTON'S PANTS ARE STILL ON FIRE: Tom Cotton continues to baldly and knowingly misrepresent facts about Obamacare and U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor. I won't do him the favor of posting ready access to his dishonest video. But here's his description.

The Pryor campaign provides a line-by-line takedown, buttressed by independent factcheckers' criticism of Cotton's claims.

* FEDERAL SHUTDOWN COULD HIT LR JOBS: Talk Business reports that the Republican-forced federal government shutdown could force layoffs at the Dassault Falcon jet finishing facility in Little Rock.

* SAME-SEX MARRIAGE PROPOSALS SET BACK AGAIN: The attorney general's office today again rejected two competing proposed ballot measures to overturn the current constitutional ban on same-sex marriage in Arkansas. Ambiguities again cited. Here, and also here.
