Four companies were cited by the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration yesterday in connection with a March crane collapse at the Nuclear One power plant that killed one worker and injured eight. The plant was shut down for almost a month following the accident.

Precision Surveillance Corp of East Chicago, Ind., Bigge Crane and Rigging Co. of San Leandro, Calif., Siemens Power Generation, Inc of Orlando, Fla., and Entergy Operations Inc. of Russellville face fines totaling over $175,000 in the collapse on charges that they failed to ensure the crane met safety specifications.
