One last reminder of the Arkansas Times Festival of Ideas,
which starts at 11 a.m. this morning and runs through 5 p.m. It's a free event, with 45-minute sessions on just about everything under the sun. (OK, no football.)
Venues: Old State House, Historic Arkansas Museum, Clinton School of Public Service, Heifer International.
Topics: documentary films, blues music, crime, gifted education, Civil War history, pottery, painting, art collecting, architecture, rare plants, rap music, social media, business innovation and startups, early childhood education, historic photographs, immigration, health care policy in the age of Obamacare.
Here's the schedule.
It's constructed so as to allow time to get between venues.
I'll be talking with Sen. David Sanders, Mayor Mark Stodola, City Director Ken Richardson
and state correction leaders at 2 p.m. at the Old State House on crime, parole and rehabilitation.
