You might recall the UA belatedly got a little out of sorts about Republican John Boozman's use of Razorback images in his Senate campaign.
Is the YouTube video an ad? If anything, since the UA sold marketing of its sports programs to a giant marketing firm they've been even more protective about use of its emblems.
Lt. Gov. Mark Darr announced for the seat last night. It'll be a fight to the death about who hates Obamacare more. Darr has already mentioned that Westerman flirted for a while with joining the Republican majority that backed endorsement of Obamacare in Arkansas through the so-called private option version of Obamacare's Medicaid expansion. But he resisted the urge at the last minute. Many believe his future congressional plans played a role in that decision.
In an interview before his Hot Springs announcement, Westerman touted his legislative work against Darr's mostly ceremonial position. He vowed to continue the fight against Obamacare at the January legislative session. He found time today, too, to blast liberals for "progress" away from "individual rights and liberties." This from a lawmaker happy to restrict women's medical rights and to punish people of different sexual orientation and to make it harder for people to vote.
