I'm already tired of the U.S. Senate race, only officially a day old.

Republican noise machine: Democrat liberal Sen. Mark Pryor said something nice about Obamacare .... Obama ... Obamacare ... Obama

Democratic noise machine: Republican Rep. Tom Cotton wants to cut Medicare .... to privatize Social Security ... to make student loans expensive .... to block the farm bill ... to cut food stamps .... to restrict women's rights.

I grant you the Democratic recitation is more persuasive.

But gee whiz. It's FIFTEEN months until the election.

Already it's in overdrive.

But I'd be remiss if I didn't pass along that Sen. Pryor will be in Little Rock Thursday.

At 8 a.m., Pryor will join the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce "to discuss his efforts to help Arkansas small businesses." 1200 W. Capitol if you want to picket.

At 10 a.m., Pryor will speak at the Remington Ammunition Plant groundbreaking ceremony. 2592 Highway 15, Lonoke, if you want to picket. But careful. These folks are armed. (If Sen. Pryor doesn't find an occasion to heft a firearm at this event, with cameras rolling, his whole campaign staff should be fired.)
