* FACEBOOK PRANK GOES AWRY: Let this be a lesson, as if kids would heed it if they read here: A Craighead County teen posted a photo of a young friend bound and gagged with a pistol pointed at her head on Facebook. It was a gag, KAIT reports. It was spotted by an Oklahoma deputy sheriff. It was reported to Arkansas authorities. Inquiries were made. The joke produced an arrest: On the interesting basis of communicating a false alarm and endangering the welfare of a minor. Trial date has been set.

* COPS IN BAR FRACAS CHARGED: Fox 16 reports that a Fayetteville prosecutor has approved warrants for the arrests of two men who pulled loaded guns in a Fayetteville tavern and charged them with disorderly conduct and harassment. Just another night at Billy's Pool Hall except that one of the men, Jeff Harris, was a Little Rock cop suspended after the incident and the other, Rex Frederick was fired as a Prairie Grove detective after the incident was reported. "Subjects involved had been drinking alcohol," report says.

* DYER HEADED BACK TO THE FOOTBALL FIELD: Michael Dyer, the former Auburn running back who played high school ball at Little Rock Christian, is headed to Louisville to play football again. His collegiate career was derailed after incidents involving guns and drugs. He spent last year getting himself together at Arkansas Baptist.

* CHURCH CAMP BEATING ALLEGED: Fox 16 reports that a woman says that her 12-year-old grandson was beaten at a church camp at the direction of a camp employee because the child had made fun of her basketball shot. A report was filed with the sheriff's office. Grandmother says she intends to file charges.
