Roby Brock at Talk Business reports
on plans to add 200 jobs to call center operations at Fidelity National Information Services
in western Little Rock. The Little Rock City Board
last night signed off on a deal that provides the company with sales tax rebates
on equipment and other expenditures in the expansion project.
The business has been subject to ups and downs in the past. I presume somebody at City Hall will keep tabs on current payroll and future payroll to be sure a net job gain results from the tax giveback.
