In the in-box this morning from Sgt. Cassandra Davis of the Little Rock Police Department:
At 9:27pm on July 13, 2013, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Roosevelt and Arch to a subject down. A North Little Rock police officer, returning to his city after dropping off a prisoner at the jail, noticed the victim in the roadway and immediately notified our dispatch. Officer arrived and found 33-year-old Tyrone Harris, black male, in the roadway. Witnesses advised the victim and a black male suspect were arguing when the victim was shot an estimated three times. At this time the victim’s injuries are serious. He has been transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The nature of the argument is unknown. The only suspect information we have at this time is a black male, wearing a red shirt who fled West from the scene.
