So I wanted to make blackberry cobbler this weekend. I went to my normal supplier of Arkansas produce this morning. He informed me the local blackberry season was over. They'd have no more. The extension service website indicates the season should last a bit longer for some varieties.
Anybody know of any local berries within reach for cooking tomorrow? Or better yet. Will a supplier be back at Pulaski Heights Baptist tomorrow?
UPDATE: My deep dish pie runneth over with suggestions here and elsewhere. Thanks. Looks like I'll have cobbler after all.
