  • NO ERNIE P.: Lottery boss Bishop Woosley got a pay raise today, but he still makes barely half of founding director Ernie Passailiaigue’s $324,000.

The Arkansas Lottery Commission today voted 2 percent pay raises to 82 employees and a 3 percent merit pay bump to director Bishop Woosley, now up to $165,000 with $2,832 more to come next year. AP reports on KAIT.

I know. The lottery hasn’t been doing so hot. But that’s not the employees fault. Is it? Also noted: Woosley makes a whole lot less than the trio of Palmetto State Pirates who first ran the lottery, the cheapest of whom knocked down $225,000. Ernie P. made $324,000.
