An American Bar Association committee has begun soliciting comments on Circuit Judge Jay Moody as a potential nominee to a federal district judgeship. There are no vacancies currently, but Judge Susan Wright plans to take retirement later this summer. Moody is son of retired federal Judge Jim Moody, who also owes his seat to a connection to Sen. Pryor (pick your generation.)
Will Tom Cotton call filling a seat held by a Republican appointee with a Democratic appointee court packing too?
SPEAKING OF PRYOR JUDICIAL PICKS: President Obama has nominated Timothy Brooks of Fayetteville to replace retiring Judge Jimm Hendren', a Republican appointee. More court packing for Rep. Cotton to obstruct. Or the rule of law to obstruct if you wish to be more precise.
