First it was Michael Bloomberg's gun control group.
Now the Senate Conservatives Action Super PAC, with Sen. Jim DeMint and Heritage Foundation links, is ripping Sen. Mark Pryor as a liberal. Politico reports it has made a $320,000 ad buy. Care to know where the money comes from? It takes some digging. In 2012, its big money came from the Senate Conservatives Fund. And Here's that PAC's FEC report page.
The ad features some of the most extreme members of Arkansas's wing nuttery —'baggers Glenn Gallas, Janet Crow and similar.
Liberal as compared to what? The ad naturally rips Pryor for voting for Obamacare. Along with a majority of Republican state legislators recently, the ad failed to note. Pryor doesn't yet have opposition, but the Republican echo chamber continues to send advance signals that the Club for Growth's visiting consul in Arkansas, Rep. Tom Cotton, will be the man.
