  • NOTHING BUT A PARTY: Police reports were comparatively light in this year’s Riverfest.

Given an attendance of a quarter-million over three days and beer consumption commensurate with such a crowd, Little Rock police incident reports on the run of Riverfest seem pretty light. Included in the roundup:

A car break-in. A stolen iPhone. A couple of fights. An arrest of a bar patron who busted a decorative vase. A drunk woman from Mount Pleasant who cursed and slapped a cop when she was barred while trying to take a child into a VIP pavilion without a pass. A concession stand volunteer who took Riverfest money one night to spend it on food and drink the next. Several drunks, including the comatose variety. 265 traffic or parking tickets.

No mention of gun use in the round of reports distributed by Sgt. Cassandra Davis.
