Unfolding now is news of two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon with multiple injuries. UPDATE: The reporting is now saying bombs are responsible and that other unexploded devices have been found.
Live radio broadcast here. The race had already been won, but some of the 27,000 runners were still completing the race and crowds were still on hand watching them come in. WCVB in Boston reports "massive" injuries and people with lost limbs. Two dead and more than two dozen injured, accorind to the early accounts. News organizations are also broadcasting concerms about discovery of secondary explosive devices and a controlled explosion of a suspicious item.
Thirty-seven Arkansans were entered in the race. As yet, no reports that any were harmed.
UPDATE: Third explosion at JFK Library. No injuries. Report of surveillance video with person bringing backpacks into blast area shortly before explosions. UPDATE ON JFK INCIDENT: They're now saying that appears to be a fire and not an explosion.
