Yes, the legislature is meeting today. Lengthy agendas full of bad legislation in a compressed time period is not a formula for good government.

* MILK IN THE RAW: The bill to allow farm sale of unpasteurized milk passed the House. On to the Senate.
* MARK MARTIN'S POLICE FORCE: The Senate approved growth in bureaucracy giving Secretary of State Martin's office a so-called voter integrity unit to mount investigations of voter fraud. There are laws and agencies aplenty for this now. The Hudson Hallum case cited as a reason for the law was prosecuted, remember? It will be a political tool sooner or later. Sooner, most likely. Goes to House.
