*LET'S TAKE THIS OUTSIDE: We're long passed the days of knife fights on the state House floor. Now legislators take to Twitter when they wish to inflict bodily harm on those who disagree with them. Tweet above comes from Sen. Jim Hendren, who didn't much like Arkansas Municipal League attorney Mark Hayes' testimony against his bill to end zoning as we know it. I only caught snippets of the long, heated testimony and Max had to step out, but the short of it is the bill was bad news with far-reaching potential negative consequences (not the least of which was ending regulation of the Lake Maumelle watershed) and it didn't make it out of committee. It needed 11 to advance and only received 7.
