Add another important political figure to the growing group of people who think the time has come to end discrimination against gay people. Hillary Clinton has moved beyond civil union support to support for gay marriage.
Perhaps this will be the impetus for the Guns and Fetuses Caucus to cook up something on the one base agenda item that has been unaccountably overlooked in the Train Wreck Legislative Session.
Clinton did the testimonial for the Human Rights Campaign, headed by Arkansas native Chad Griffin. Griffin predicts it will be hard for Democratic or Republican nominee for president in 2016 to oppose marriage equality. Opinions are changing rapidly on this issue, I know, but in the Republican Red Zone? I'm not so sure.
