The line is open. Cleaning up:
* MILLION-DOLLAR WINNERS: Stephen and Terri Weaver of Stutgart bought $30 worth of lottery tickets and came up with two winners, one for $1 million and one for $50,000, at T Rick's in Pangburn, the Arkansas Lottery has announced. They're going to invest it.
* ANOTHER REPUBLICAN FOR MEDICAID EXPANSION: Ohio Gov. John Kasich throws in with Medicaid expansion, joining Republican governors in Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota and Arizona.
* LEGISLATIVE AGENDAS: Attorney General Dustin McDaniel distributed a list of legislative agenda items today, some discussed previously. They included some items he plans to work on with Keith Ingram, one of several potential gubernatorial candidates whose names surfaced after McDaniel left the race.
In addition, McDaniel said he is working with Sen. Keith Ingram on several bills related to elections, including measures to improve transparency in the process of collecting signatures for initiated act proposals, so as to avoid fraudulent signatures on ballot petitions. Ingram is also expected to introduce bills to help prevent misconduct related to absentee ballots, and to require criminal background checks for people seeking elective office.
* GLUTTON FOR PUNISHMENT: Will Bond of Jacksonville tells Michael Cook that he'll seek another term as Democratic Party chair. I joke about the headline. A good politician with good instincts is still willing to fight the good fight at a tough time.
