A post yesterday mentioned legislators' interest in the $312,000 deal UAMS has cut with its former CFO, Melony Goodhand, to be on call for help for a year though she had left to take a job somewhere in Tennessee. The university didn't immediately have contact information, or know the whereabouts, of its highly paid resource but said it expected contact info before long.
A tipster told me that Goodhand was going to work for Wellmont Health Systems' Bristol Regional Medical Center. I sent a query to the hospital's press contact and got this response overnight:
Yes, she is joining our leadership team at Bristol Regional Medical Center. I don't believe she has started, but it should be soon.
