I wouldn't be looking for cover blurbs for Chief Justice Jim Hannah and Gov. Mike Beebe just now, given his criticized ruling in the school finance case, but Circuit Judge Tim Fox has a book out, "The Ring of Truth," on the fictional exploits of a Southern lawyer, U.N. "Flash" Stephens. In between a big murder case defense, Flash's girlfriend tries to poison him and a colleague is bludgeoned.

It's on Amazon and also at Wordsworth. From the author's note:

As Tim has learned first-hand, real-life legal cases have unexpected twists and turns, and the Law has some unique words with unusual meanings, so he finds a good legal drama riveting. Tim describes Ring, as, “a legal thriller meets Joseph Campbell. Well kind of, if you turn the hero’s journey a little sideways; strike the hero with lightning, have him fall in love with someone who tries to poison him, and then jack his life up a little more.”
