The Office of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas announced a guilty plea in a May 2011 murder case in which the victim was shot 14 times in a car during a drug deal.
Durrell Hill, 21, of Little Rock, plead guilty to aiding and abetting in the possession of a firearm in furtherance of a federal drug trafficking crime. The plea agreement carries a sentence of 15 years in prison. Prosecutors say Hill shot the victim after the victim pulled a gun during a marijuana deal and pointed it at the head of Hill's partner, Labrons Ellington, 21, of North Little Rock. Ellington had plead guilty in September to the same count of possession of a firearm during a drug crime.
