*SHARING: After almost a year an a half court battle, the White County lawsuit over a $1 million lottery ticket a woman found in the trash has been settled.

*OUR FAVORITE TWEETER: On Twitter, Sen. Jason Rapert “applaud[s] the president of Uganda for his humility and courage.” The applause come because Ugandan president Yoweri Museveni, who has been involved with a prominent American Christian right group, gave a speech publicly repenting for his own sins as well as those of his nation. One thing that didn’t make the repenting cut: about a year ago, a bill proposed by his party would have made some homosexual acts punishable by life imprisonment or the death penalty (homosexual acts are already punishable in Uganda by up to 14 years in jail). Museveni was silent on the bill until it raised an international outcry, though he may have stoked homophobia in the country by warning of gay Europeans “recruiting” Ugandan schoolchildren. Sounds like Rapert’s kind of guy…

*UPDATE: Jim Harris offers by far the most well-reasoned analysis of the Arkansas coaching search at the new Sporting Life Arkansas.

His five man list:

1) Petersen; 1A) Patterson; 3) Gundy; 4) Franklin; 5) Pelini.
