KTHV reporting that the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a 39-year-old woman as she tried to flag down help for a stalled car. Arkansas State Police have arrested Robert Lee Glover, Jr., 50, of Carlisle. He is charged with failure to stop after accident with injury or death.

Kim Perkins was hit and killed around 9:30 p.m. on August 25 on U.S. 70 five miles West of Lonoke. Her car had run out of gas. State police had previously identified the type of vehicle that hit Perkins from shards of headlight plastic found at the scene.
