Release from the Maumelle Police Department:
On 11/20/12 at 0322 hrs Maumelle officers responded to a residential alarm activation at 15 Bouriese Circle. Officers arrived at 0325 hrs and found the home to be secure with no signs of forced entry. They were unable to make contact with any resident after repeated knocking and ringing the door bell. The officers then returned to patrol duties.
Officers were dispatched to the same residence at 0531 hrs. The caller, a juvenile resident of the home, reported that someone had been shot inside the home. Officers responded and searched the residence, finding two deceased people (one adult female and one adult male), both with apparent gunshot wounds, in the master bedroom. MPD detectives are currently investigating this case as a possible murder/suicide.
The dead were identified as Dexter Green, 42, and his wife, Sonia Green, 41. He was found by a bed with a gunshot wound in the right side of his head. A semi-automatic pistol was found by his body. She was found in bed and had been shot multiple times. Children were at home at the time.
Pulaski court records indicate she had sued him for divorce in 2009, but that suit was dismissed. A second divorce suit filed this year was pending. She also asked for and received a protective order in a domestic abuse proceeding last July.
