Sgt. Davis also said the police have arrested James Hinton, 18, in a string of so-called Craigslist thefts. The crook would meet people with items to sell on Craigslist, grab the item and then run away.

He's a suspect in at least nine grab-and-gos, according to police, mostly at an apartment complex at 9400 Stagecoach Road, dating back to August. The thief stole diamond or other types of rings on five occasions, two iPads, two iPhones and a Macbook. The police said they are investigating other thefts.
