1) Given that AR ranks 3rd in # uninsured individuals and is tied for #1 in poverty/hunger; can you explain what you would do "specifically" for those individuals living in poverty to ensure access to health care and job training (i.e. not minimum wage part-time)?
2) Why do Republicans never discuss or publicly support food stamps to feed the hungry, public housing to house the homeless, childcare to care for children whose parents are in training, and funding for the disabled?
3) Did you sign the Grover Norquist pledge?
Q. 1. a) I will support protection and continuation of the Affordable Care Act, and modifications that will assure health care is available to all who are living in poverty
1.b) We need to buttress and improve our schools to produce more graduates; and enhance our commitment to technical and vocational schools and community colleges to provide meaningful job training, in addition to improving the job yield of our extisting employment security programs.
Q. 2. As an Arkansas Democrat, I don't truly know what or why Republican think caring for the less fortunate of our sisters and brothers isn't part of our heritage and duty. I do.
Q.3. No Way ! This country, it's citizens, and our future are too important to adopt a doctrinaire 'pledge' that would avoid solving new problems with new solutions.
I'll add Griffin's if they arrive before the election.
