Little Rock police have announced the arrest of a homeless man in the death of Alexias Esaw-Khabeer, 25, a homeless woman who was found dead Tuesday morning in the former home of a relative.
Mark Bonner, 30, was charged with two capital murder charges because Esaw-Khabeer was 14 weeks pregnant.
The police report follows, but it withholds the cause of death.

INCIDENT DATE/TIME — 07/24/2012, 0722 HOURS
INCIDENT LOCATION — 5903 HUTSELL ROAD
ARREST DATE/TIME — NO ARREST AT THIS TIME

On July 24th, 2012, Officers received a call in reference to a Subject Down at 5903 Hutsell Road. Upon arrival, they made contact with the reporting party, and observed a black female lying deceased in the residence. The Victim, later identified as Alexias Esaw-Khabeer, was obviously deceased, but the manner of death was unknown at that time. The Crime Scene Unit and Detectives responded to the area and the Victim was transported to the State Crime Lab by the Deputy Coroner Patrick Moore. An autopsy was performed and the Medical Examiner ruled the death a Homicide.
During the investigation Mark Bonner was developed as a suspect and on July 25th officers made contact with Mr. Bonner who was transported to the Downtown detective division where he was later charged with 2 counts of Capital Murder, one for the death of Mrs. Esaw-Khabeer and the other for her unborn child, as Mrs. Esaw-Khabeer was 14 weeks pregnant.
Neither the motive for this homicide nor the exact cause of death will be released by this agency.
