Auditors report on mental health spending

The auditors that Rep. Jon Hubbard would like to abuse so he can harass the University of Arkansas have more important tasks to perform.

For example:

* MEDICAID SPENDING: The auditors released this morning a comprehensive report on Arkansas Medicaid spending on mental health services, in-patient and out-patient. It totals $2.6 billion over five years, not counting related drug costs. The report looks at recidivism and, most interestingly, how the money shakes out. Which agencies — residential and community based — get the most money. Which doctors make the most referrals based on future cost? I can't summarize much now, but it's a wealth of important information. Full report here.
