Further products of questions to the University of Arkansas athletic department in the Petrino affair:
* RELATED PARTY: The university confirms that then-football coach Bobby Petrino's daughter Kelsey was employed once in the athletic department. She was assigned "administrative duties related to development and fundraising planning for the athletic department." She worked from Feb 15, 2010 to May 8, 2010 and was paid $500 biweekly. I don't know if this job was posted. UPDATE: It was posted, UA says. She was presumably best qualified.
* RELATED PARTY II: To answer a reader's question, yes, the human resource official who appears in the file about Petrino's hiring of his girlfriend Jessica Dorrell, Carrie DeBriyn, is the daughter of former baseball coach Norm DeBriyn. He now works in the Razorback Foundation. Said a university spokesman about those related parties: "As per your question, Coach DeBriyn does not work in the athletic department and wasn’t involved in the hiring process." The Razorback Foundation raises money to support the cost of operating the athletic department.
